What I like about this video, and Lisa's approach, is that she notes that mistake is only one when you're attempting to get a particular result and do not because of technique. If you like the result, then it's not a mistake.
As Lisa noted, the only real mistake you can make is to do something that makes archiving your work impossible. For example, don't use hairspray as a fixative as some places suggest. Hairspray will yellow over time and the result will be discolouration of your work, it's for hair, not art.
