If nothing else, this has been good for my art...

At the start of the year, I had set a goal of trying to do some form of daily art. As far as resolutions go, I was kind of sucking at it...

Today, the vast majority of the world is operating in a very different way than we were at the start of 2020. The things we were so used to doing, we're not doing anymore and, well, that leaves some time for other things. There's an old saying: "When life hands you lemons, make lemonade."

So, as April has begun, my suddenly infrequent attempts to keep to my art goals has become actually real and I've noticed a difference. I have spent a lot of time on digital art, following the tutorials from the artists I have recommended before, and I've started to branch away from just doing tutorials to doing my own self-directed studies using various references from Pixabay. While I think I still have a long way to go on my art journey, I do think the purposeful practice has done me a world of good.

This is my most recent self-directed and it was not only fun, but also relaxing. Timelapse followed by final result.
