Dipping into the world of Russian avant-garde art, this week I'm featuring Mikhail Larionov, 1881 - 1964.
Larionov was a founding member of the Jack of Diamonds
art group, noted for offering opportunities for artists who were unable to achieve visibility through more traditional channels.
As you can see, Larionov has distinct cusbist influences.

|Lady with a Fan|
Not all of his work was cubist influenced, though.
|Still Life with Lobster|
Larionov ultimately lived most of his life in France, becoming a French citizen.
