Dipping into the world of Russian avant-garde art, this week I'm featuring Mikhail Larionov, 1881 - 1964.
Larionov was a founding member of the
Jack of Diamonds art group, noted for offering opportunities for artists who were unable to achieve visibility through more traditional channels.
As you can see, Larionov has distinct cusbist influences.

Larionov ultimately lived most of his life in France, becoming a French citizen.
