This week Chris, from LethalChris Drawing, takes us through the process and thinking he does when drawing trees using graphite. Of course, Chris makes it look effortless, but it's worth remembering that he has a lot of practice!
I find I really like the graphite work that Chris does, somewhat more than the Copic work. His Copic work is amazing, but there's just something really well done about the graphite that stands out for me.

As always, practice will improve things. I have to admit that a hard part was avoiding the symmetrical look, especially with pine. It's just so natural feeling, while not natural looking, to fall into that.
