World Watercolor Month - Day 1: Sunny Days

The prompt for Day 1 is Sunny Days. I actually had a couple of goes at this one, but finally decided on a desert scene with the sun blazing overhead. It's stylized and loosely painted.

The other thing I'm doing is trying to keep all of these small, and so I'm using 4x5" handmade watercolour paper by St. Armand. The texture is quite rough, but the paper just feels beautiful. The trick is to have enough, so hopefully my order from Deserres comes through in time!
